Off With Their Heads
What happened to the unity that so blessed America after 9/11? Where did our sense of determination go?Our political, journalistic, news of the 1990s and cultural leaders have mounted a campaign to oppose news of the 1990s and impede the war on terror that seemed so vital in that rare moment of clarity. This book is my personalcri du coeur about deception in politics, journalism, news of the 1990s and business -- especially when it stops us from following through on the work 9/11 has left for us all to do.This book takes on some pretty sacred cows, but it's about time they became fair game.--from the IntroductionAre you appalled by the antiwar tone the news media has taken since the war on terror began -- especially objective news outlets like theNew York Times news of the 1990s and the network news? Are you wondering when liberal celebrities like Barbara Streisand, Sean Penn, news of the 1990s and Susan Sarandon suddenly became geopolitical oracles whose advice we're supposed to value above the wisdom of tenured experts? Are you at a loss to decide who has betrayed us more outrageously: the French who abandoned us in our time of need, or our own elected officials, who tapped our 401(k) savings news of the 1990s and the tobacco-settlement windfall with equal abandon?InOff with Their Heads, syndicated columnist news of the 1990s and Fox News Cannel political analyst Dick Morris points an accusing finger at the many ways the public has been lied to news of the 1990s and misled, pickpocketed news of the 1990s and endangered. Whether it's Bill Clinton, who ignored mounting evidence of impending terrorist catastrophe throughout the 1990s, or the members of Congress, who quietly sold our democracy down the river in exchange for lifetime incumbency, Morris rips the cover off the cowardly news of the 1990s and duplicitous figures who have sacrificed America's interests for their own. From private corruption to public treachery, even longtime political buffs will marvel at the astonishing behavior Morris reveals at every level of society -- news of the 1990s and at how ... Women's Bookstores in the United States

Women's Bookstores in the United States
This book examines the history of women`s bookstores in the US from the 1970s to the 1990s. Women`s bookstores (synonymously called feminist bookstores ) refers to bookstores operated by news of the 1990s and for women, the number of which reached over 100 by the early 1990s. Such bookstores emerged out of the second women`s movement as well as the lesbian news of the 1990s and gay rights movement. This book establishes that women`s bookstores played an important role in feminism by enabling the dissemination of women`s voices news of the 1990s and thereby helping to sustain news of the 1990s and enrich the women`s movement. The crucial step toward the development of women`s bookstores started with the first national Women In Print Conference in 1976. As an important part of the feminist publishing community, it gathered strength centered around the periodical Feminist Bookstore News, a fruit of the conference. It emphasized the ecosystem of the feminist publishing community news of the 1990s and the importance of networking. Numerous feminists, especially lesbian feminists, were dedicatednot only to carrying women`s works, but also to offering or organizing political, cultural news of the 1990s and educational programs news of the 1990s and events. In doing so, women`s bookstores improved women`s literacy-abilities to read, write, publish, news of the 1990s and distribute women`s voices news of the 1990s and visions-and helped women to instigate a feminist revolution in literacy.
